Job Title: Freelance Video Editor
We are currently looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Video Editor at our company, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage from film shoots into polished (or finished) and cohesive final projects for our YouTube Channel.
About Us
Dr. Boz is an Internal Medicine Physician who teaches the ketogenic lifestyle to those looking to reverse medical problems. The Dr. Boz brand includes courses, supplements, and a growing YouTube Channel.
Responsibilities:
- Creating videos from uncut footage on a project-by-project basis
- Selecting and/or creating stock footage for videos
- Regularly collaborating with the creative team
- Following the company’s brand guidelines
- Creating and animating slides in Keynote
Experience and Competencies Required:
- 3 years of experience as a video specialist or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
- Proficient in Keynote (Mac required)
- Writing experience is an asset
- Creative thinker
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Understand and respect the importance of deadlines
- Some knowledge of the ketogenic diet will be helpful
