What is the BRAINS course?

What is this Course About?

Train Your Brain

Whether your brain has been fogged by trauma, inflamed by substance use, slowed by sleep loss, or just worn down by life – Dr. Boz built this course to reverse the damage and get your mind firing again.

BRAINS is a self-paced experience where you’ll learn how to:

(1) Restore slow-wave sleep

(2) Activate brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)

(3) Reverse the long-term effects of alcohol, marijuana, and prescription drug exposure

(4) Evaluate concussions vs. chronic use patterns

(5) Understand trauma’s lasting effects on the hippocampus

(6) Rethink how brain injuries are treated in modern society

(7) Use game theory, storytelling, and team-based learning to deeply retain what matters most

This course doesn’t just inform, it REWIRES your thinking. You’ll leave with tools and a new mental framework to take care of the brain that carries your life.

Who Is It For?

If you want to repair, protect, or optimize your brain, this course is for you.

Specifically built to serve:

(1) High performers and athletes looking to sharpen reaction time, focus, and memory

(2) Parents, caregivers, and professionals recovering from stress, trauma, or burnout

(3) Lifelong learners, biohackers, and skeptics who want real science, not soft wellness claims

(4) Healthcare workers, teachers, and counselors trying to help patients or students heal

(5) Community leaders and everyday thinkers who want to raise the bar for the next generation

Dr. Boz’s Approach

This course is not a lecture series. It’s a problem-solving simulation.

You’ll study real-world case stories and see groups of people step into the role of a City Council Member designing public policy for brain health. Each module begins with a quiz-style challenge you must solve before moving forward.

You’ll cover topics like:

(1) Slow Wave Sleep

(2) Hippocampus Damage & Repair

(3) BDNF and neuroregeneration

(4) Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

(5) Addiction, MAT, and neurotoxicity

(6) Marijuana, medication, and the developing brain

(7) Chronic brain injuries from long-term substance use

Yes, you can take this course alone.
But it works best in a small group: 3–5 people committed to learning and growing together.

Once you complete the course, you’ll want others to experience it.
Retake the course as a facilitator. Use it to teach your children, your patients, your classroom, your recovery group, or your church circle.

This course doesn’t just shift how you think.
It gives you the tools to shift how your community thinks about brain health.
