This book is amazing!! I have been on a keto diet for about 4 months…floundering and listening to this person and that person trying to explain the diet. I still felt confused and wondered if Keto was really life changing or was it going to harm my health. I wondered why everyone else on the keto diet dropped weight like crazy but I never could. What was I doing wrong? Enter Dr. Boz! She is a natural teacher. She explains the keto diet in a way I could finally understand. I purchased the Audible book so I could listen in my car and also the written copy so I could really study what she was saying. I found out how dangerous high blood sugars can be and the power of Insulin at keeping your fat storage locked up. I purchased a blood glucose monitor and discovered my blood sugar was daily in the 120-140 range. I was 200+ pounds and my weight never budged. I learned what a big role fasting can play in your health. I did my first fast for 48 hours and it was a wonderful experience. I did drink bone broth during the fast and never felt hungry. My mind felt clear and my energy soared. I plan on fasting every week. I did get the Keto monitor she recommends. During the fast my ketone level was at 1.9 which was exciting for me. I will update this review with my weight loss results. I am so thankful Dr Bozworth wrote this book! She truly is a Godsend to me!
