I couldn’t stop reading. Very easy to understand. Her personal Story of Grandma Rose, mixed with deep explanations of how reducing insulin and blood sugar
levels and raising Ketones was the most easy to understand.
So personable and relative.
I have been dabbling in keto off and on for a year or two but never found a comprehensive book that was easy to read yet gave all the science one needs to know about this way of life. As a nurse, I have found it difficult to convince fellow medical personnel to even consider this diet. Now this will be the resource that I will direct them to. I’m totally convinced that this way of life can prevent me from becoming diabetic like my ancestors. Thank you for writing this book and for having the courage to do your own experimental research!
My Mom had told me of this book, she continued until I finally read it. It was January, did you hear of the 10 day challenge by J Lo? Any way, I decided to do that with Michael Strahan starting on the Monday after I heard of it. So I tried the 10 days no sugars, no carbs. Turns out I had carbs as they are in veggies. I did great though and what an eye opener. During that 10 days I read “Any Way You Can” I don’t want to spoil it; but it is about fighting cancer any way you can. It is a physicians story learning about the keto diet. She explains in terms anyone can follow. It is non traditional medicine; but may be the healing the world needs. Definitely think the world should read this. There is all kinds of information on line to back this information. Many physicians are stepping out of the “main stream” and learning a healthier nutrition plan for all, proven to help with many of today’s ailments. Happy peace and healing to all.
I loved the book. I have read it three times and watched many of the videos.
Love this book. I eat keto and it helps my Lyme and allergies. The cancer fighting part is just a bonus. I’m trying to get my daughter who is a Type 1 diabetic to eat this way, as Dr Richard Bernstein recommends.
This is one amazing book with amazing data, and road map to get started on your Ketogenic Journey. Very inspiring and informative. I have already lost 8 lbs and stated to do my 24 hour fasts. I am 55 years old and tired of carrying 20 lbs extra. Being off the sugar has so many benefits and you will find them all in her book along with her mother’s story of fighting cancer. Her mom’s story woven into a wealth of information makes reading the book much easier.
I bought this book, because I love Dr. Boz from her online videos. After hearing her say to patients and people who called in with questions that she could tell they had not read her book, I bought the book! I have followed many leaders in the Keto community and read countless books, but Dr. Bosworth offers something more. Not only does she share her mother’s miraculous cancer journey, she also shares in depth science of the ketogenic diet, its effects on the human body, what to expect over time and how to do the ketogenic diet. Dr. Bosworth presents science and claims that I had not heard or read before. For this reason alone this book is a valuable addition to the library of anyone interested in a healthier life, especially us, baby boomers. In addition, she writes a loving, exciting-to-read and uplifting story about her mother, her Mary Poppins.
I love Doc Boz, shes very informative and easy to understand. She talks in our language, not medical mumbo jumbo!!
An easy but credible read for those interested in a Keto way of eating and/or intermittent fasting. Recommended for anyone looking to improve their overall health, not just for weight loss but also addressing a long list of metabolic disorders arising a history of high carb diets.
