My hat\’s off to Dr Boz. I\’ve done keto before, with OK results, but not great results. This course is diffferent! What makes Consistenly Keto better is:
1) Expertise and methods that are actionable: DrBoz has proven clinical experience with real patients – her keto theory is sound – I\’ve seen it in other courses. DrBoz conveys experience with fallible (and triumphant) regular people. She really lets me know what to expect in terms of bio-markers like stool, BP, SLEEP!, and more. Cronometer is just the right trackng tool for keto, in contrast to the other zillion online trackers.
2) Relevancy of class, production values, future relevance of class as an online tool:
The Q&A at the end of each module should answer your questions – they came from a live group of 1000 people. The production quality of the vids is good, and has continuity. This isn\’t true with many scattershot approaches I\’ve seen. I usually drop out of these groups before the grace period expires, but this one is worth the $197. A reasonable tuition pays for good production.
3) Innovations: The Keto Continuum is brilliant . I\’m at comfortable at level 5 and 6. You should not try to miss a level and get ahead – that will make failure more likely. Other methods had me jumping all over the place. The Dr Boz Ratio (Glucose/Ketone ratio), DBR, is easily understood and you know if you\’re in the right zone with a simple scale- 80. Other scales for this idea are hard to follow. So two big innovations relative to other courses are DBR and Keto Continuum.
4) Name and memes: The name Consistently Keto is well chosen. The community name Dr Boz Neurons is based on mirror neurons. It\’s a powerful notion based in physiology and behavioral science. The simple expression \”monkey see monkey do\” encapsulates this 😉 My behavior is strongly influenced by mirror neurons, and behavioral changes take some work to overcome inertia.
I\’ve lost weight, my fatigue is minimized, and I get to eat tasty food that I like. One oft-overlooked benefit is appetite indifference – I see my wife eat ice cream (she can metabolize it and is in great health) and I don\’t even get a small temptation. I don\’t need to \”cheat\”, which was never true on other methods, even keto methods. I\’d recommend this course to anyone with metabolic syndrome, T2D or obesity.
